It's found in Jesus
At JoshuaOne9, we believe that true and lasting hope is only found in God's plan of salvation - made available through His Son, Jesus. It doesn't matter who you are, where you come from, or what you have done, every man and woman is in need of a Savior. Surrendering our lives to Jesus is beginning of true purpose, hope, healing, forgiveness, and freedom. How do you find this salvation? It is simple...
God loves you enough to pay a high price for you.
He sent His Son, Jesus, to give His life as a payment for your life.
"For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins." Romans 3:23–24 (NLT)
God loves you enough to invite you to know Him.
He simply asks for you to believe and trust in His plan of salvation through Jesus.
"For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son." John 3:16–18 (NLT)
"But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God." Romans 5:8–11 (NLT)
God loves you enough to meet you right where you are. He is not waiting for you to get your life in order first - He simply asks for you turn around and trust Him
"The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent." 2 Peter 3:9 (NLT)
Talk to Him right now. Since Salvation occurs in your heart, you don’t have to recite a perfectly worded prayer. You don’t have to worry about sounding eloquent or impressive. Here are the things you need to talk to God about.
Tell God you know you are a sinner – be specific about any sins that come to mind.
Tell Him you believe that His Son Jesus came to this world, lived without sinning, and gave His life as a sacrifice for you.
Tell Him you are turning your back on your sins and asking for His forgiveness.
Go ahead and thank Him! Because if you meant what you just prayed, then He heard and forgave you. You are now His child! True purpose, hope, healing, forgiveness, and freedom just began in your life!
